DELL C610 is perfect for me to work with. I;m a student and there is 1 year left for my graduation. This machine is good not only for everyday activities such as email, internet, etc., but for working with web design and graphics applications such as dreamweaver, photoshop etc. that is very helpful in my study. My boyfriend says it's not good for high end modern gaming, he is disappointed with that... but what does it matter to me? This little helper of mine makes my life easier! This is cheap, and I'm proud of myself that I was able to purchase this. Now i have my personal portable laptop, easy to use, easy to transport, easy to study with.

Excellent service from Portable Universe would recommend every time.
Despite the company having a fire a week or two before xmas they still delivered on time ready for the kids to open the laptops on xmas day.
A big thankyou to the team and all the very best for 2010.
Will definatley use them again many thanks.

This laptop is the best laptop i have ever had and i have had a lot .It runs smoothly and quickly and its great for on the move and internet .You can open a lot of tabs before it slows down like, on the internet , listening to music , talking to friends and doing your work all at the same time before it starts to slow .One bad thing is it only has one USB slot i shouldn't really complain about it but it would be nice to have maybe three or four . But other than that its fab .

Great laptop! runs quickly. nice keyboard, touchpad mouse is comfortable to use.
runs well with Windows XP, can cope with quite a lot before it slows down. It's a pity there is only one USB port, i would like to have more but... the price is low. I don't have a right to demand from this machine more than it can provide, besides, having a one USB is not a big problem for me. I like its design, its clear screen, keyboard, portablility, speed – i like the whole of this.

NOTE:This is a review on the C600 not the C610 above
I origionaly intended to buy the Cheap IBM (£120), and was very pleased and supprised when they ubgraded it to this. I am now happly doing my corsework, and doing all the development work i could do on our main computer. The only bad point about the C600 is the RAM, as the maximum supported is 512MB, and it only came supplyed with 128, and is a tad slow. You shouldent have this problem with the C610.
Summery:
A great all around laptop!
